I’ve been so busy……

Sorry I haven’t posted my blog properly this last week, I have just been so busy! Lots of new dogs (and owners!) to meet with….it’s a great complaint!

Also, I have hardly taken any photos recently as the weather has just been so bad – raindrops on the camera lens is never a great photo!
Two great walks today with the rain (nearly) staying off for the whole time….out with me this morning were Holly & Ivy, Rudi & Sheulie, Monty, Lucy and Herbie. We had a great walk over Dumbrock Moor, which was cattle free today!
Out with me this afternoon was Laddie & Meg, Rocco, Buddy, Skye, Dexter (all pictured here) and just out the photo is wee Lily (probably having a wee rest!!)

A warm welcome to our newest member – Milly

Up in Drymen today with Holly & Ivy, Rudi & Sheulie, Murphy, Coco, Vito and new girl Milly.

Milly wasn’t too sure about the van, but still travelled really well, up in Garadhban Forest, I kept her on the lead for about 20 seconds as I could tell she was just desperate to get in amongst the other dogs. She played and interacted really well with all the other dogs (but I have to say that she really loved playing with Vito!) and came to me the second I called her. A lovely friendly dog with a beautiful nature who comes from a loving and caring home – my favourite kind! Welcome Milly, I know we are going to get on famously!
PS Not the best photo but it was pouring with rain the whole time….yeuch!

A warm welcome to our newest member – Riley!

Today I welcomed a new Wild Side Walker into the pack – Riley the Hungarian Vizsla!

He was a little unsure about the van, but still travelled really well. Once up at Mugdock Country Park he LOVED his walk. I didn’t have him on the lead at all and he ran, jumped and played constantly for the full time (generally at FULL PELT!). He fitted in really well with the rest of the dogs, and the first time I called on him he instantly ran back to me – perfect! He comes from a loving and caring home – my favourite kind of dog!
Welcome Riley, I know that we are going to get on just great!

A warm welcome to our newest member – Coco!

Today we welcomed a new dog into the Wild Side Pack – Coco the Maltese/Lhasa Apso cross. She bounced great into the van and even though she is only wee, kept up no problem on the walk. She was off lead for the whole walk, and came to me instantly I called on her – perfect! Coco comes from a loving and caring home and fitted beautifully into my healthy, balanced pack of dogs – so, Welcome Coco, we are going to get on really well.

My biggest concern though is that beautiful white coat – Gulp, for how long will it stay THAT colour??!

One piece of Kibble…..

Just look at them all – one piece of kibble and you would think I had the crown jewels in my hand! My daughter Sarah was off school today (October week), and loves to come with me when she can, and I appreciate the company.

Up at Drymen today for a change of scene, with Holly & Ivy, Laddie & Meg, Skye, Ted, Lily, Kellie and last minute addition Zola – who is always welcome!
Best of all – the rain stayed off!!

The Rain Never Came!

It was forecast for heavy rain for lunchtime today, but it never did come – Hurrah! – dog walkers tend to watch the weather very closely!!

Two great walks today – the first with Holly & Ivy, Herbie, Jude, Buddy, Boris and Murphy. The second with Holly & Ivy, Laddie & Meg, Kellie, Skye and new boy Riley who is a Hungarian Vizsla!!!!
I will post a photo of him next week as I forgot my camera on the second walk (doh!!)

Some Sun…..

Two great walks today – the first with Holly & Ivy, Vito, Monty, Pepsi and Lucy which everyone loved. Then the second walk was with Holly & Ivy (no, they never get tired!) Jude, Skye, Laddie, Meg & Zola, and they also had a great walk. I always appreciate Mugdock Country Park with its wide open spaces and many drinking places, but on a day like today when the sun is shining and all the dogs behave beautifully, I really LOVE walking round it!

Thought I would treat you to a close-up of one the dogs – Meg. Isn’t she gorgeous?

After the rain…sun!

After the heaviest rain that I’ve walked in yesterday, a lovely day today. Or maybe it is just dry…! Some dogs don’t worry at all about the rain – new boy Herbie, Jude, Vito, all spring to mind. You can be walking in torrential rain and they are carrying on as if it’s a summers day!

My dogs Holly & Ivy and others too – Boris, Rudi, Buddy all hate the rain. Holly, in particular, walks along with her tail between her legs, feeling very sorry for herself. Occasionally, she will look at me with a mournful expression as if to say “What are you doing to me??”
Today, Holly LOVED her walk again!

A warm welcome to our newest member – Herbie!

Today, the Wild Side Crew were joined by a new pack member, Herbie.

He honestly couldn’t have been better. He jumped immediately into the van, travelled really well, was super friendly with all the other dogs and just LOVED the wilds that I walk. I didn’t even put him on the lead at the start, which I normally do with a brand new dog, as I could tell that he was going to be perfect. And he was…..another Carlsberg dog to add to my expanding pack!
Welcome, Herbie, I know that we are going to get on famously!

Testimonials

Jacqui loves and treats her clients dogs as if they were her own. She always make sure the walks are a new adventure. My pup lived with her for an entire summer and I could tell he was very loved and happy and spoiled! She truly cares and loves dogs. Highly recommend her. I felt more relaxed knowing my pup was somewhere that he was happy, loved and having lots of fun.
