Barclay’s Last Day :-(

Barclay has been on his holiday’s for the last week with us, and you would be hard pushed to find a better wee dog.

He is lots of fun, behaves beautifully, gets on SO well with Holly & Ivy and loves the company of all the other dogs too.
As a special treat for his final walk, we took him to Rowardennan to the beach, which he really loved. He played on the beach for 2 hours, running about playing tig with Ivy – he will be a tired boy tonight!
I will miss him so much……come back soon, wee Barc!

Lily’s moustache

Did Lily have a slightly ginger moustache when she started coming out with the Wild Side Dogs? Or is it hanging about with all the Ginger ones that’s done it??!!

Maybe by Christmas she will be half and half….
Great walks today with Holly, Ivy and Boris, Lily, Jude and Skye, Zola and Monty. All of these dogs are a real pleasure to walk- friendly, responsive and just out to enjoy their walk. Great! (Just as long as they don’t ALL turn ginger!)

Another great walk…..

Another great walk today with Holly & Ivy, Boris, Jude, Skye, Monty & Vito. Very warm again today, but definitely not complaining, especially when I see rain forecast for the end of the week – yuk!

This is a great group of dogs who LOVE their Wild Side Walks – don’t you think it looks like Holly and Skye are smiling in this photo?
Syke’s owner graduated today with a 2:1 Honours degree – Well Done Glenda – All the Wild Side Team are very proud of you!

A lovely new walk

A lovely walk today with Holly & Ivy, Boris, Murphy and Rocco. Rocco is one of my newest dogs, but he is a pleasure to walk. You never need to shout on him as he keeps an eye on me the entire time, and plays and interacts with the rest of the dogs beautifully. I really look forward to the walks that Rocco is coming on!!

I took the dogs along part of The West Highland Way that I don’t normally go on, and they all LOVED it so I imagine that this will become part of my regular jaunts!

Little Lil

A lovely walk today with the sun not quite coming out from the clouds, but still very warm.

With us today were Holly, Ivy and Boris, Monty, Molly, Zola and Lily (in the picture).
All the dogs run about and constantly play, and I love it when Lily chases Zola – very funny! I love discovering all her habits like she does like a wee rest every now and then!

The 5 Friendliest dogs ….

Today I had (from left to right) Holly, Jude, Ivy, Pepsi and Murphy.

I really loved today – all these dogs get on so well and you would be hard pushed to find friendlier dogs. The weather was perfect (I love the sun!) and all the dogs love swimming and racing for sticks in Deil’s Crag Dam, which is lovely at the moment. When it’s driving rain and -15C in January you definitely will NOT envy me, but today??? Ermmm…Yes, I love my job!

Hot Dogs

On a really warm day (wonderful!) all I could hear today were dogs panting!

With me today were my own 2 dogs Holly & Ivy, Zola, Boris, new girl Lily and Laddie & Meg.
Lily had a ball today, running about the moor, playing with all the dogs. It’s especially funny when she chases Zola (the Ridgeback).
Today was the last walk for 3 weeks for Laddie & Meg as they are going on holiday……..I will miss my black labs and their antics sad smiley #335, but hope that they have a good time!

Another warm welcome to new boy Rocco, and new girl Lily

On the warmest day of the year so far, I welcomed another 2 members to my pack. Lily actually came out last Wednesday too, but my camera broke, so it’s really her second walk! Rocco was on the morning walk, and he was absolutely fantastic. Travelled well, super friendly, very responsive, and loved playing with the other dogs. Lily was on the afternoon walk, and she had a ball. She leaps straight into the van, travels beautifully, very friendly and loves to play. As a dog walker, could I ask for better dogs???

A warm welcome to two new boys – Ozzie & Monty

Two new pack members today – Ozzie (the rough collie) and Monty (who is a giant teddy bear!) Both dogs were really fab. No problems in the van, travelled well, got on with the other dogs – happy, healthy, friendly, balanced dogs – my favourite kind! Great fun in the sun today, I love Mugdock Country Park all the time, but when the sun is shining I really appreciate what the park has to offer – wide open spaces, a swimming pool for the dogs and many streams for get a quick drink in during the walk!
