Another Black & Tan Walk

Another great walk today, with dogs that just get on so well, it is a real pleasure to walk them.

With me today were Holly & Ivy, Meg & Laddie, Lily, Mac, Murphy & Zola.
A lady that I passed on the West Highland Way commented on the fact that all the dogs were beautifully co-ordinated and I realised that they were all black or tan (ish!)
Best of all, the heavy rain that was forecast didn’t appear, so Hurrah!!

Zola’s Back!

Having been on her holiday for a couple of weeks, Zola the Ridgeback is back! She LOVED her walk, and was so pleased to see me and the rest of the pack (esp. Holly & Ivy – she just LOVES my dogs). Doesn’t it look like she’s smiling in this photo?

With me today were Holly & Ivy, Zola, Laddie & Meg, Lily, Monty and Juno. All these dogs get on so well together and love their walks, it is a real pleasure to walk them all.

Jac & the pack

My husband was with me today, so took a photo of me with the pack. With me today were Meg, Mac, Laddie (on lead), Holly, Ivy, Skye and Monty.

Laddie is on the lead going through the forest as this is the danger spot for him. He can have a tendency to wander (if you watch any youtube videos of mine, you can hear his cow bell in the background).
Out on the moor is fine, I can see him from far away, but going through the forest is a different matter….and I have no desire to ever lose him.

How cute is this dog????

Up at Drymen today with Lily (in the photo), Holly & Ivy and Juno, trying hard to escape the rain that was firmly over Mugdock Country Park. Some success, although still rained at times. Holly & Ivy always enjoy their walks and today was no exception. Lily is super cute, very friendly, very responsive and just loves our walks – the perfect dog walkers dream dog.

New girl Juno still isn’t too sure of the van, but she will get there. On the walks she loves to race ages ahead of me, which is mildly heart stopping, until you see her racing back FULL PELT!! She is very responsive, and friendly and LOVES the other dogs company! Perfect.

Gigha and Cara’s last day (for a while!)

Today was the last Wild Walk for Gigha and Cara (the retriever and lab in the photo) for a while anyway. I have been walking them while their owners were away sunning themselves on holiday. They have been a real pleasure- friendly, happy, well mannered dogs that really LOVED their walks with me.

Looking forward to your owners next break, Gigha and Cara!!
Also with me today were Holly and Ivy, Boris, Vito and Skye – all great dogs who are a pleasure to walk and make me smile a lot!!

A Warm Welcome to our New Girl – Juno!

Today was Juno’s first walk with the rest of the gang, and she had a great time. She was a little unsure about the van, but still travelled well. Up at Mugdock Country Park, I kept her on the lead for about 5 minutes, then let her off as she was dying to get in amongst the other dogs. She ran, swam, played and was super friendly – and came back instantly I called her. Perfect!

Another Carsberg dog to add to my pack….

All Carlsberg Dogs

I so enjoy walking with all the dogs that came out with me today – Holly & Ivy, Gigha & Cara, Murphy, Rocco & Lily. Carlsberg don’t make dogs, but I bet if they did they would look like this lot!
I love walking dogs that just run along with you and enjoy exploring all the countryside that Mugdock Country Park has to offer (and there’s plenty of that!). No aggression, no constant shouting for them just happy, balanced dogs – the kind that I like!!

The weather did hold while I was out, and started raining once back at the van – how lucky! In fact, it was very warm on the moor, poor Gigha with her big thick retriever coat was panting a little! We found plenty of water for her to cool down in though!

Jude Goes Home :-(

Jude has been on his holidays with me for the last 2 weeks. He has had a blast – from playing (and staying!) with his sweetheart Ivy, to all the walking any dog could ask for!

He has been walking in Mugdock Country Park, Drymen, Fintry, Rowardennan, The Campsie Fells and Queen’s View…and managed to find either water or muck to jump in at each of these places!

I have really loved having him to stay, he has been such a great dog, but my house seems very quiet now……. I miss my Golden Lab already.

I LOVE these dogs

What a great walk today, with all these dogs just enjoying their walk, and playing with each other. With me today were Holly& Ivy (my Vizslak), Gigha & Cara (the retriever & black Lab) Skye & Rocco (the collies) and Jude (the golden Lab).

A walk across Dumbrock Moor so that all the dogs that want to can go for a dip at Deils Crag Dam, then back through the forest – perfect!

Holly & Holly

A lovely walk today at Drymen with a great pack of well balanced, lovely dogs who are a pleasure to walk.

With me today were Holly, Ivy and Boris (the Vizslak), Laddie, Meg and Jude (the Labs), Rocco (the border collie) and Holly (the cocker spaniel) who is pictured here.
It is very confusing when you have 2 dogs with the same name, as every time I called “Holly” today they both came running (which is why big Holly is in the background of the photo!).
Wee Holly is with me for only 3 days, but I wish it were longer. She is the perfect dog, very mannerly and responsive, and is LOVING her countryside walks, splashing into every bit of water (and mud) that she can find. She makes me smile a lot!!

Testimonials

Jacqui loves and treats her clients dogs as if they were her own. She always make sure the walks are a new adventure. My pup lived with her for an entire summer and I could tell he was very loved and happy and spoiled! She truly cares and loves dogs. Highly recommend her. I felt more relaxed knowing my pup was somewhere that he was happy, loved and having lots of fun.
