Up at Drymen today, with probably the calmest walk I have ever done. Monty (the Bouncer!) really doesn’t like other dogs are having a “carry-on”, and will run between them and separate the nonsense!

The Calmest Walk…
Up at Drymen today, with the calmest dogs ever. All my usual suspects were on the walk today, but big Monty does keep it very calm. He really doesn’t like it when the dogs “carry-on”
Mugdock Country Park, without the rain…
After the downpour yesterday, it was lovely to walk up at Mugdock with the sun shining again!
How cute am I?
Buddy came with the pack today along part of the West Highland Way which was like Sauchiehall Street! Lots and lots of walkers and at least half a dozen cyclists.
Two Golden Labs – Jed
How alike are these two Labs? The one with the ear flapping is Jude (perpetual motion) and the other is Ted. I tried for ages to get them together for a photo, and although Ted sat in front of me for 5 minutes waiting patiently, trying to get Jude to stop running about like a maddy was near impossible – this is the closest that I came to getting them together….
A warm welcome to our newest member – Jackson!
Today we welcomed a new boy into our pack – Jackson The Labradoodle. It was his very first walk, and the weather could have been kinder to us – although it didn’t seem to bother Jackson one bit!
Happy Birthday Rocco!
Drymen
With me today were Holly & Ivy, Ted, Murphy, Juno, Skye, Vito and special guest – Ludo.
The Bouncer
The Newfoundland in the centre of this photo is Monty, but I call him The Bouncer. He really doesn’t like it when there isn’t absolute peace and calm, with all the dogs just enjoying the walk. If Ivy & Holly start a carry-on with each other (fairly regular occurrence!), he runs at them both and stands in between them until they have calmed down. It’s like he is saying “Now, come on, that’s enough of that carry-on. Let’s just enjoy the walk” He is big enough that even Ivy listens!
It’s Sunny!
I love my job on days like today! Might not be quite so enthusiastic when it is -5C in January but for now – definitely!
